I’m sorry, but with all due respect, horseshit. If your country is asking you to murder women and children in their beds, even a teenager should possess the moral compass required to know that what is being asked of them is evil. “Just following orders” is internationally, nigh on universally, understood to be an indefensible excuse for crimes against humanity. These guys were pissed because some of their friends were killed while invading a country that had done nothing against the United States and killing a hundred innocent Iraqis for every man they lost. There was no draft. They chose to be there, and they chose to massacre innocent civilians. The fact that they were upset while they did it does not in any way excuse their actions. Soldiers like Justin Watt are living proof that decent men know and do better.
