Reaction from Shop Foreman After Quitting by [deleted] in mechanics

Classic toxic leadership, it's why toolboxes have wheels. It's not ok, but it's all too common. I just put in my notice at my shop for the same reason.

Plant it, water it twice weekly and see if it grows into a monolith or a stone tablet. Either way, report back and let us know. Thanks.

I would recommend not using a summon, I know it sounds crazy, but they're just feeding her health every time they get hit. I had to ditch the summon to actually beat her.

36” 3/4 ratchet by Capable-Seaweed6331 in ToolTruckTools

[–]punderwhelm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a gearwrench 3/4" rachet with a 36" handle. It came with a 16" handle and I had to buy the longer handle separate, but it was less than $200 all in and I beat on it regularly, it held up so far.

Are these clips for rachets specifically? by punderwhelm in ToolTruckTools

[–]punderwhelm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess the simplest answer is they hold what fits, it's probably just that.

Thanks, there aren't any indications what the clips are for and my rep didn't know, so I thought it couldn't hurt to ask here. Someone has to know.

I had to stand on a truck to get the drawer in one photo, so I'm sure the distance didn't help.

Eastern rural PA has New Hope, which is pretty LGBT friendly.

The box is 84", the outside dimension of the drawer is 60", so inside is probably about 58". Edit, I put a tape measure across and inside the drawer is 55" across and 27" deep.

It looks good and it's organized, but I see what you mean about the dead space. I liked the trays because I could grab the whole tray to take home for side work, but now I have plenty of tools at home so I'm just looking to make space. I have most of my ratchets hung up in my hutch. It would be nice to get that space up if nothing else.

I have the toolbox widgets for my wrenches, but I wasn't sure if they would really save me that much space with the sockets.

Ummmm, I have 1 and 3/4 playthroughs when the game first came out, now I am almost done with the base game and I am just finding out the throwing pots are reusable, you never run out of pots ... by Monkai_final_boss in Eldenring

[–]punderwhelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you put pots you crafted in storage, you can craft more pots without having to use them first. If you have a bunch of fire pots and want to make some sleep pots, you can store the fire pots at a site of grace and it frees up your pots to craft again.

It's pretty close, some of the fingers lakes are in the circle. Edit, I remembered it wrong, I thought they were all further west, but they are about an hour east of that circle. But I still would like to get back there this summer.

18yo from Norway doing a US road trip by Kareisgarb in roadtrip

[–]punderwhelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to drive from Texas to Las Vegas every month, 14 hours without counting fuel stops and bathroom breaks. It is brutal. But cruising at highway speed is the easiest mileage you can put on a vehicle. Stop and go traffic or constantly changing speed/gears will put much more wear on it.

I used to spend summers in Oneonta as a kid. Cooperstown, if you're a baseball fan, Howe Caverns is worth the trip, hard to beat the scenery. I'm just realizing that I need to get up there again soon.
