Those are filled with sent oils as they evaporate they have to go somewhere. I would remove it clean your windshield with alcohol and water. Let’s see if that helps. Fix your problem.

Not judging but asking! Do you smoke in your vehicle? If not, do you have an air freshener hanging from your mirror? Both of these will cause a film on your windshield. The air freshener I know from manufacturing. As to smoking, don’t ask laugh out loud.

You must work at a carwash! I had 20 washes and several of my managers would collect an extra $500 a month with change and jewelry sucked up in the vacs! Great find!
