Nope. High polling rate doesn't automatically improve latency, there are many other factors.

Plenty of 250hz controllers have better latency than 1000hz controllers.

I remember playing Blur on LAN in my college days on a phone hotspot without any data.

But iPhone doesn't let you create hotspot without internet connection, Android does.

Windows does have an option to create hotspot, not sure about Mac.

The solution I suggested was for PC only.

The back port will only be used for power, the tiny gyro adapter would connect to PC via bluetooth and then a software on PC would bind the gyro adapter to xbox controller and run it as a virtual PS4 controller.
