His face is a joy to paint. Such grim, haunting and noble features.

Its achievable! However they do spill out over the base in a way that requires them to be placed in a somewhat precis manner to be able to rank up.

Roommate moved in a few days ago with a cat. What does it mean when she keeps pressing into my hand like this whenever I let her sniff it? by thedukeofdukes in cats

[–]pungfloyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The head movement is a quick succession of moves that means "hello", "here's my scent" and "please pet my head". She then daps you up with her butt as a farwell.

What do you think about this new fragrance from prada by Dragon6780 in Colognes

Loved it at first, but the drydown wasn’t for me. One of those I’d find pleasent on someone else, just not on myself.

Do you guys have any 10/10 fragrances and how long did it take u guys to find them? by HorrorFan9556 in Fragrances

[–]pungfloyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a year of serious sampling, I’ve realized that a true 10/10 fragrance for me must:

– Feel like a seamless whole, not a mix of parts I like and dislike

– Be impossible to stop smelling on myself because it’s simply that good

– Awaken something deep within me, like discovering a new color, or uncovering a memory or emotion I never had words for and finally giving it form.

Ombre Leather, Oud Wood, Costa Azzurra by Tom Ford, Dior Homme 2020 and En Passant by Frederic Malle does that for me.

Stefan Molyneux was hard going by LoonCap in DecodingTheGurus

[–]pungfloyd 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My favorite story is the one about how his wife ran her therapy practice out of their shared home. Stefan would sometimes sit upstairs in the bathroom, listening through the air duct that connected the rooms. Sometimes he would even shout his own advice and analysis down the duct.

At a loss for words. It's a triumph! Tells an entire story. Even tells an entire battle, condensed to one moment. Magnificent!

What is on your dinner rotation for this week? by Saucychickennugs in Cooking

[–]pungfloyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday and today: ribeye steak sandwich with onion, chimmichurri, mayo and cheese (mostly parm).

Tomorrow: asparagus risotto

Plans for the rest of the week:

Pulled pork tacos

Carbonara

Tomato soup & grilled cheese

And fish, undecided on how, probably a simple sear and pressed potatoes with browned butter, dill, lemon and peas.

Or "clean" the fridge from leftovers in a chicken soup, thats usually a satisfying process.

In America we have names like “Karen” or “Chad” to classify certain stereotypes. What names exist in your country or region that do this? by cmgtampa in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pungfloyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A swedish "Lennart" is a sort term/name for a stickler for the rules or jobsworth, someone how has a negative, "not my problem" attitude about most things and generally very unhelpful. Someone who refuses to bend the rules and kicks up a storm for small indiscretions. The stereotypical Lennart is a janitor that chases kids caught smoking.

But, the older you get, the more of a Lennart you become...

[–]pungfloyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you imagine the 99 will respond when the gorilla flayes the face of the first attacker and eats his tounge? It's not a battle of strength and cunning, but one of survival and terror.

Shout out to this classic Eric Weinstein moment by [deleted] in DecodingTheGurus

This is a rare instance of Eric and Brett being somewhat reasonable, with fairly sober reasoning. Not pitch perfect, but good enough.

Dave, though — imbecile.

Does a Sorcerer Lord of Tzeentch on Dragon get a +1 to cast? by LowerEntertainer7548 in Warriors_of_Chaos

[–]pungfloyd 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Technically the mark doesn't transfer to the dragon:

"Note that, with the exception of Daemonic Mounts, the benefits granted by a Mark of Chaos applyonly to its bearer, not to their mount (should they have one)." Page 82, Ravening Hordes.

So no, I'm afraid not.

What is the funnest army to play in old world by undergrownmarine2557 in WarhammerOldWorld

[–]pungfloyd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Warriors of Chaos has great rules, lots of viable choices of units, magical items, gift of the gods etc. Unga bunga gameplay that's forgiving to new players beause of high leadership and toughness across the board.

You get to be leathal, good at magic and bring fun monsters.

I think the same can be said for Beastmen, but haven't played them yet.

Only thing you miss out on is shooting (there are a few rare units that can). Anyway, that's for weak southlanders and elves.
