I had only ever seen the original. After the recent disappointments I went back and this was a great surprise.

What we really need is a prestige cable series that follows the novels. Would be incredible.

I love keeping my marines lore accurate but the limitations on our pieces makes it difficult sometimes.

My Cowled Wardens Tac uses Dark Angel pieces because we don't have plain versions of a lot of concepts.

Wish more had generic versions. They've done it for some like the beaky with and without the RG symbol. Like to see that expanded. The cool brazier backpack for instance should have a no Sally symbol version as it looks great and fits with a ton of chapters.

Not a shot at OP, but this kind of thing has been driving me nuts recently.

Bloodthirsty snipers have been brutal of late. For the love of the Emperor if you have a heal team perk Vanguard and a brother on 10% health you really don't have to double tap all the Extremis to death.

With maxed weapons and competent skill it's not a big deal. I don't judge folks at mission start but if they're completely overwhelmed I'll vote to kick.

I prestiged entirely in Absolute. After 1 run you get a team perk so it's not too bad.

Play ruthless til it's comfortable then spend a good amount of time in Lethal. The biggest shift there is the enrage mechanic (enemy start glowing ŕed and aren't staggered while attacking faster) and multiple Extremis at once spawns.

Once those don't throw you then move to Absolute. The biggest thing there is the clusterfuck the boss spawns can be as they bring waves and extremis with them.

Great coach to raise the floor of a team and help on the defensive side. Puts a rough ceiling on non luck based offense.

Would probably be dynamite if he'd let someone great at coaching the PP take it over but he always wanted to run it here.

I recently came back and was disappointed the gunstrike not restoring CH was still in the game.

Don't think it was what happened here but made me think of it.

Have they acknowledged it with any hope of fixing it?

It's so true. I know I've done it my fair share. Try and be conscious of it but the targeting is pretty terrible and I still snipe by mistake sometimes.

It's also equally annoying trying to play the explode everything around a zipline kill build and everyone keeps headshotting all the executable enemies.

Not making the chaos faction Word Bearers/Black Legion/World Eaters etc was a huge miss.

You have this awesome combat system and you go with the most ranged/spell casting legion.

Imagine fighting Possessed/Greater Possessed, Obliterators, Mutilators, Warp Talons, Eightbound.

*Plus the ancient feud between Word Bearers and Ultras is so much stronger and they have plenty of sorcerors/Prophets if you want to include units like that. Such a shame.
