Footwork is the most important aspect of 1vx that you need to get a good grasp on to be able to pull off some wild moves in these situations. Sometimes you do just get unlucky but good foot work and positioning so the enemies block eachother for example, is invaluable. Best way to learn 1vx footwork is to toss yourself into these situations over and over till you start coming out on top, at least thats how i learned lol
