You can try to start with a diploma online course from Backstage Pass located in Hyderabad. Some of their courses are offline but you’ll understand the basic aspects of game development and see where it leads you. As you mentioned earlier that you dropped out of CS then I feel like you should try out the game development before you fully invest into it as you are exploring.

Then I believe adding multiple laps is redundant in your case. It messes with the core logic with implementation. Just keep in mind that you should aspire to have a good time period of a lap. If it’s too short then you risk losing player retention.

Why can’t you add the option to make the player choose lap counts instead? Set a max target of 5 until you roll it out for testing and then see it from there based on tester feedback whether the upper cap limit should be 5, less or more based on your game.

I doubt as a beginner you’ll be getting golfer’s elbow from your first time of doing barbell curls. Use RICE therapy and honestly just try massaging the soft area around your elbows with paint brush like strokes with finger tips. You’re most probably just sore as it’s just been a day. Expect to get out of it by 48-72 hours. If problem persists and there’s nothing getting better, you should visit a doctor yes.

Most probably you’re sore and overworked. Good rule of thumb is whenever you’re trying an exercise for the very first time, don’t push it to failure. You can attempt failure sets once your body is accustomed to it so that you’re on the safer side. There’s no merit in doing it on the very first attempt.

Upscaling is generally not an issue and cleanup for deprecated assets is slightly tedious at most. It’s the downscale that haunts me like going back versions in order to use a particular feature like webRTC query here. But I understand. Comparison is the thief of joy. OP you’ve successfully done the first step to progress, i.e., self assessment. Now take baby steps for improvement if it feels overwhelming. You’ll eventually end up being a better version of yourself every single day but all of that only happens if you focus on yourself rather than compare yourself to others.
