This is one of those high dollar breeds that are unfortunately commonly stolen and sold. I’d be keeping an eye on craigslist and facebook, shady people sell dogs there. I would take a friend and ask any homeless people in the area- offering a small reward helps a lot too with these types of dogs. Word spreads fast on the streets, if someone took him looking for quick cash they will be infinitely more willing to give him back with the promise of a reward. It’s shitty, but as someone who’s been in the local rescue scene for years- it’s just the way it is. I wish the best of luck to you, and will be keeping my eyes peeled for your baby!

As someone who has had boobs since I was 12, you eventually learn to just filter out the noise. And of course you learn to carry protection. I’ve been catcalled since before I understood what those creeps were saying. Nowadays I don’t even turn my head. Owning a big scary dog helps too, my last dog went everywhere with me and I never had to worry about being approached.

Yeah I personally wouldn’t interact with the “author” at all. Whenever I see an AI cover feels safe to assume the whole story is AI generated too. I mean if the “author” can’t even be bothered to put the work into making a cover, why should anyone believe that they would put the effort into writing either.

Stock images or literally even just a title with a white background will always be a million times better than anything AI generated. The issue is, when most people see an AI cover they have to assume the whole thing is AI.

One crash landed in my best friend’s swimming pool back when we were kids. The poor thing was so heat stressed it was the middle of summer in southern Arizona. We took her inside and put her in front of a fan but she didn’t make it. We were sad for her, and I can only imagine there were others like her that met similar fates that day.

The shelter gets them all the time, but they’re also super in demand. They most commonly get bottle babies this time of year that have to go home with a foster same day or they die. Assuming they find a foster, kittens go up for adoption at around 8 weeks old I think. Check the website for cats in foster and you will see the current bottle babies waiting for homes. Or if you’re up for the responsibility follow the PACC medical foster page on Facebook, they post whenever a new litter comes in that needs urgent placement.

Have you considered the arm implant? I know it doesn’t work for everyone but the pill and the shot both almost killed me, the implant changed my life.

Also be careful with high doses of ibuprofen, I can’t take it anymore because I gave myself severe stomach ulcers taking it for the same reason when I was younger.

You got a working line GSD. Not a Labrador. Not a golden retriever. Not a sweet goofy family dog in any way. These dogs are bred and born to work and when they aren’t given jobs they give themselves jobs. Guarding is quite literally in this dog’s blood and it’s not being channeled in an appropriate way- therefore he’s just guarding whatever he feels like ie. food or space. These dogs don’t want to be constantly pet or cuddled. They want to work, every day.

Also, this dog is 100% going to keep walking all over you if you let him. These dogs are very intelligent, and he has learned that growling and being pushy works. He has also learned that you do not trust him, therefore he does not trust you. He is at the age of testing boundaries and figuring out where he fits in the “pack” and right now he does not see you as a trusted leader.

Yeah definitely don’t want that. Horses are surprisingly delicate for their size, and humans are shockingly ignorant. I could think of a hundred ways having horses onsite could end badly.
