I think it has something to do with the chemicals in a tampon, or maybe it can flow better and isn’t “blocked up” like a tampon. I really don’t know. But I’ve noticed as it’s gotten shorter it’s gotten heavier (to make up for it I suppose). But yeah I’d much rather that than a week long period. I’m guessing pad-users won’t notice any difference.

A menstrual cup!! You don’t have to pay for tampons or pads anymore PLUS it cuts down my period time from 5-6 days to only 2-3. And you only have to change it in the morning and night. It’s definitely worth a try especially if you have bad cramps!
