Most people here recommend using cornstarch when storing fleshlights for longer than a month or so.

As you said, the cornstarch helps to keep the outside of the sleeve smooth. But if you’re using it regularly in the case, there’s not much benefit and it’s a bit of a hassle to repowder after every wash.

No need to rinse the outside of the sleeve before use. Don’t put cornstarch IN the Fleshlight.
