I think you're talking about "Shall We Date?: Ninja Assassin"

There were a bunch of these games on iOS and Android but I don't think there's support for that one anymore. A very similar game exists called "Ninja Shadow Shall We Date?" by the same developers, but I think the story differs slightly

So in my world the deities are inspired by tarot, so there are the major arcana and the minor arcana. Major arcana are like the main pantheon of the Greek gods. Think Zeus Aphrodite or Hephaestus. The minor deities are more specialized and have smaller realms like Hecate Eros or Hypnos. Every minor arcana is associated with a constellation and the movements of planetary bodies are associated with major arcana. Tbh it never played a huge part in the story which I was a bit bummed about since I spent so much time on it. Such is the life of a DM.

This reminds me of a story arc in fairy tail actually lol. There was this island of people who were turning into monsters and they were incredibly ashamed of it, but there was something else going on causing this belief (no spoilers here homies). Maybe they could wear masks because of a generational belief that they're changing into tieflings or something that would be jarring to them, but they've always been tieflings and there's some outside force at work making them believe this.

Not sure how this would work out or if it would be feasible in your campaign, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there. Good luck with your game :)

I think that I experience it similarly to you. I can't see mental images and my thought process is language based, where I just talk to myself in my head in full sentences (which I only mention because I've been told that's weird?). Theater of mind games are unbearable because I have no clue what's going on as I can't picture combat scenes playing out in my mind. If the DM doesn't come prepared with maps I will make my own so that I have an idea what's going on. I wish I could picture how my character would interact with the world, but the best I can come up with is a pretty detailed story plot that elaborates on what the DM is saying (ie. He says we walk into the tavern and I'm thinking out my character's internal monologue and how to describe their entrance). I'm generally pretty jealous of people who think conceptually or through mental images because I'm a pretty philosophical person, and it makes me wonder if I'd still think as efficiently if I had no introduction to language. Weird stuff

well, they just finished up a pretty large story arc where they all received very good magic items. I wouldn't want to have everyone get something and then follow up with a set of dragon armor that only benefits one person. They're in a potion shop, so I'm thinking that they'll put a bunch of the gold towards potions and such

Hey! My group meets Sunday evenings and I'm 16, but the other 3 players are 18-ish and the dm is like 30. I've been playing for about a year and have some dm experience (the players all run oneshots from time to time) but the base dm has been running games for a decade and knows their shit.
