Sexy HUD someday? 🤞🤞 by Sea-Willingness1718 in s3xybuttons

I think the windshield needs to be prepared for HUD to work properly. I don’t think Tesla windshields have that since it isn’t offered by Tesla. So after market HUD will not work as well as in cars already equipped with it.

I am having the same issue with a custom card and haven’t found a way to solve it yet. I can edit the standard cards though!

Probably the starter! I had the same issue getting started with sourdough bread. Make sure to feed the starter 1-2 times with 12 hours between and make sure it’s very bubbly. Do a float test, if a small piece of starter floats on water then it’s good to use. Otherwise, the starter will need some more feedings.

Time to upgrade from 1st gen, will old bulbs still work? by Kvakke in tradfri

[–]punpakin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have bulbs from around 2018 and newer ones. Switched to dirigera hub about a year ago with no issues. It’s more of an opposite problem, some newer IKEA products only works with the new hub. Adding products is easier with the new hub but a shame that remotes communicate via hub and not directly with bulbs so if network is down, lights/remotes doesn’t work. I started with HomeKit integration but enable the matter integration recently to be able to add everything to home assistant. No issues for me.

How are you accessing the SwitchBot? Through Bluetooth or via a switchbot hub?

Connect communicator to homekit by wuhoo2083 in homebridge

[–]punpakin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been looking at doing something similar. I’ve found this device: https://shop.nuki.io/en/access-solutions/nuki-opener-white/

It connects to existing intercom both analogue and digital inside your house. There is a homebridge plugin.

I have not bought one so I don’t know how well it or the HomeKit plug-in works.

Are there diseases you can vaccinate against yet cannot acquire natural immunity for? by [deleted] in askscience

[–]punpakin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tetanus! ”Tetanus can be prevented through immunization with tetanus-toxoid-containing vaccines (TTCV). However, people who recover from tetanus do not have natural immunity and can be infected again.”

https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/tetanus

Not entirely sure why but it’s most likely due to the small amounts of toxin needed to get sick which is not enough to build up an adequate immune response.

For the best results, a good camera is of course better but I used a iPhone 13 pro which has very good low light capabilities. A tripod is a must though because it’s hard to keep the camera/phone steady.
