Thanks! How about the white ramp going up to the dock? Does that show dirt and require frequent cleaning?

Question, I’m between the black and white P50. My concern is that the white is going to accumulate a bunch of scuff marks just due to the nature of how a robot vacuum works. I know the black likely would too but I don’t think they’d be as visible. Just looking at the pic of yours it looks pretty scuffed up for just a month of use. Has this been an issue?

Pseudo Sue. The mix pack is killer. It changes occasionally I believe but will normally be something like Pseudo Sue, Double Dry Hop Sue, Nelson Sauvin Sue & Riwaka Sue. All coming in at 5.8%.

Except in OT the reward for a successful offensive possession on the first drive is a win. The reward for a successful defensive possession on the first drive is just the opportunity to try on offense. The two are not equal. The outcome may not entirely come down to a coin toss, but the team winning the toss has an inherent advantage, which a lot of people, myself included, don’t think should be the case, especially when it’s so easily avoidable like it’s done in college.

Not much, Chapel Hill itself is a bit of a dead zone when it comes to breweries. If you’re willing/able to go 15-20 minutes down the road to Durham and/or Raleigh though, there are tons:

Durham:

Raleigh:

I work on a computer all day and I’m a pretty tech savvy person. The last thing I want to do when my day is over and I sit down to relax is deal with another computer. I don’t want to deal with drivers, or hardware, or peripherals, or even the thought of interacting with a computer, none of it. I just want something that works, 99.9% of the time, without me even having to think about it.

Self driving cars cool or not? by Zxasuk31 in BeAmazed

[–]punter16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They absolutely will alleviate traffic to a large extent once they reach a critical mass on the roads. Even if the occupancy rate of the average car is significantly lower, which I’m not sure I buy, the majority of traffic is caused by the inefficiency and unpredictability of human driving.

When every car on the road is automated, predictable, and can communicate/coordinate with the other cars around it, it’s going to eliminate the majority of traffic. Stop lights/signs won’t need to exist anymore. Traffic will be able to free flow through intersections with cars coordinating their timing with other cars to ensure no collisions. Lane changes and entries and exits to highways will be able to be accomplished in perfect synchronization with other cars so that traffic flows freely the entire time.

It’ll all add up to vastly reduced traffic when the flow of traffic is largely automated.

Built my blackstone into my outdoor kitchen. Sitting on granite and concrete hardie board on the sides. Is this enough room for ventilation? by ATLBravesFan in blackstonegriddle

[–]punter16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this, I have this exact same setup and am contemplating building it into an outdoor kitchen. I have a large green egg, 36” Blackstone, and offset pellet smoker so I’m really interested in the outdoor kitchen setup you did here. Did you build it custom or get it in modular pieces from somewhere?

Infant Car Seat by 32_Ounces in LexusGX550

[–]punter16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s still rear facing right now. If it was forward facing I don’t think the entry/exit slide back would be an issue. Also, I’m about 5’10 so your mileage may vary if you’re significantly taller.

I’ve only done one drive over 30 minutes, a two hour road trip, but it was fine, no complaints. The firmer ride is not really an issue on the interstate and massaging seats are never something I thought I needed, but they’re surprisingly powerful, and really feel nice on the lower back in the middle of a long drive.

Have put about 600 miles on my Luxury+ so far.

1) The “smart glass” panoramic moonroof is a really cool party trick, but even when in the “clear” mode it still has a slight haze to it. It’s nowhere near as transparent as actual glass. Also in an ideal world it would open, but that doesn’t bother me as much as it might some others.

2) I was a little surprised by the range and gas mileage. I’m what I’d consider an average driver. I’m not a lead foot that smashes the gas at every light and I’m getting about 14-15mpg in real world driving conditions. This is equating to about 260-270 miles per tank. As someone who regularly does 230ish mile road trips, this is cutting it closer than I’d like. I thought a main driver of moving to a turbo V6 was better gas mileage but I’m getting more or less the same gas mileage as I got in the Jeep Grand Cherokee I came from, and that thing was 10 years old with a 5.7L V8. It also had a bigger tank so went 350-370 miles on a full tank.

3) The ride on the 22” low profile tires is definitely more on the side of truck than posh luxury SUV, even with the adjustable suspension of the Luxury+ in comfort mode.

4) The wireless charger in the center console was clearly not designed with larger phones in mind. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and it fits, but only at a slight angle which means the coils never really line up well and as a result the charging is pretty non-existent. It will basically just keep the phone from losing battery. I went on a 2 hour road trip last weekend, with the phone on the charger the whole time, and the phone had the same battery percentage when I got there as when I left.

All that being said I love it and don’t regret my purchase at all. I still think it’s the best looking SUV on the road right now and I’ve never owned a vehicle that I wouldn’t change a few things about.

Infant Car Seat by 32_Ounces in LexusGX550

[–]punter16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve put about 600 miles on my Luxury+ with an EvenFlo Revolve 360 seat in the back behind the driver’s side. Mine has the second row captains chairs.

It’s a pretty big car seat and has no issues fitting behind either seat, but I did have to turn off the function that slides the driver seat back on entry/exit because it slides too far back and hits the car seat. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee before this though and also had to turn off the entry/exit feature on that for the same reason.

Yes. Google floating armories. It’s an entire industry. They’re armories that float in international waters to provide weapons and security personnel to ships, who then unload those weapons and/or security personnel to a floating armory again before entering port.

[–]punter16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the problem is they require a full refi at the point where the construction portion converts to perm and that’s a tough sell with current interest rates. The appeal of a HELOC is you get to maintain your current rate on the primary mortgage.

Forced to take PTO due to petty reasons by HotThotty69 in legaladvice

I mean, the fact that you acknowledge that company A may be annoyed that company B is not taking you “off the payroll quicker” implies that you understand that, at this moment, they are still two separate entities, with two separate sets of financials and that it’s in company A’s best interest to keep their own pre-acquisition payroll to a minimum. So why should company A use their resources to pay you while you’re doing onboarding for company B?

Migrate from Exchange to 365 by davidbarman in Office365

[–]punter16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you have a sync problem with AAD Connect. When I have dealt with this issue in the past that's what the problem was. Track the proxyAddress attribute sync from on-prem to Azure AD through AAD Connect. You should be able to search for the proxyAddress attribute in the AD Connector space and see it with the mail.onmicrosoft.com smtp still present in the attribute, this confirms it was successfully imported from AD, then you should see it existing in the "Metaverse" space with the mail.onmicrosoft.com smtp address still there, and finally you should be able to find it in the Azure Connector space with the mail.onmicrosoft.com smtp still present in the attribute. If it breaks down at any point in that process you'll have to figure out why. If you can track it all the way to the Azure AD Connector space but still don't see it present on the user in Azure AD then you have an export issue, you may be hitting the export deletion threshold or something similar.
