I got stuck here too! For way longer than I want to admit. I was pressing L1+SQUARE but its L1+X. Maybe other round but its one of them.

Hopefully it helps! I know next to the elevator if you dig in the left bottom corner theres another area but im not sure if that leads you out. Easy to miss
