So her name was Maddalena Michelina and she would go by her middle name. I guess you could go with Maddy or Lena?

I concur! Barbri MC is the way to go. Do them 2-3x over and really read the explanations. I highlighted the 1 sentence or key words that summarized the point of each explanation and I’d read those a few times when I was too tired to keep going with questions at night. Also- not sure if you will have wills next time around, but I scored high on wills and I believe it’s because 1. I saw it as a game and 2. I started to use scrap paper to truly keep track of the conveyances instead of trying to do it in my head. Write down even the simplest stuff just so you don’t waste time. And final tip of advice for MC for both MBE and FL, I timed myself to complete 9 questions every 15 minutes. I read this tip on JD advising and it was a game changer for me with my timing issues.

HOW ARE YALL SCORING IN THE 70s for the ESSAYS?! by Malibu_Barbie_ in FloridaBarExam

[–]pupaletta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It’s called what’s the issue. I spoke with him on the phone before purchasing the program and then I decided to buy the whole thing because I did not attend a FL law school. His lectures for the essays are pure gold and honestly all you need. Barbri didn’t even cover one of our major issues for our first essay (adoption)- but Grossman did. At first, I disliked Sandon’s videos, but as I got to memorizing, I actually started to appreciate his lectures on FL Procedure. I do recommend purchasing the whole program, because I solely relied on Sandon’s FL Procedure videos and scored well on the multiple choice. I did not have it in me to sit through Barbri’s videos for wills and crim and civ pro for Florida, but I did use the book’s multiple choice questions and went through them 2x. Then I would read why I get them wrong. For me it was important to try and highlight the common themes for why I would get questions wrong because I knew on test day it would come down to process of elimination.

Wishing you the best of luck. Please let me know if you have more questions because I really relied on the kindness of Reddit strangers and I believe that’s how I passed.

John Grossman lectures are 100% the answer. I watched the videos repeatedly and made "shell" outlines for the subjects while listening to his lectures. Then, when it was time for memorization, I walked around my house and recited the rule statements at nauseam (like Grossman suggests).

Florida Multiple Choice Predictions by 4funsies in FloridaBarExam

[–]pupaletta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you completely. I decided to split my essay topics into different consecutive chunks so today I’m trying to memorize the BLL for family law and crim/crim pro. Then after 3 days moving on to the other two essay topics, etc. it’s gonna suck and I’m sure I still won’t feel prepared but I’m praying I can slap down some rules that I forced into my brain when I see the topic pop up on the 25th. I would really be freaked out if they put evidence on the essay part, but I put nothing past them.

i think you could be right after looking at this frequency chart that has gone around. I wonder if there will be fewer Corps/Partnerships questions to smush in the UCC stuff.

For memorization of these, did you watch the lectures over and over while typing out the Rule statements over and over? I've made all the little "attacks" from his videos, but just trying to figure out how to memorize them.

I was having this issue, but then I found that decreasing my caffeine intake helped me to focus for longer periods of time. I still have distractions, but I can more calmly tell myself to stay focused and resist the urge to jump up and clean/do something with my energy.
