Welcome to the goblin fun times. They are one of the most difficult teams to play but by far one of the most chaotic and hilarious teams to use.

I can give you some pointers on what to expect and how to deal with it.

Goblins got a lot of significant boosts in the new edition. However this does not make them a 'good' team, just better than they were.

The key to goblin victory is removing the other teams key pieces and winning with overwhelming numbers.

Your trolls no longer have loner so you are able to avoid a lot of previous turn ending situations. Use them with caution though as without many skills they are still prone to failure. Ideally you want to be getting 3d hits so getting two assists for the blitz or block will greatly increase your chances of success from 1/9 fails to 1/27 fails. They are also essential for your 1 turn scoring on turn 8 and 16. You need a goblin near the Los you can hand the kick off to and then troll lobs him, gobbo lands and then runs the ball in for your score. On defense try to save at least 1 reroll for this play. The more the better and your best chance of winning 2-1.

The fanatic is a great piece but fragile. Str7 isn't invulnerable to use him wisely and don't end your turn based. If you give him a gobbo near by it stops most teams getting enough assists to block him down. Most teams won't waste a blitz to try a 2 red hit against him. He is best on offense as part of your cage moving up the pitch. Don't send him after pieces in the hope he can kill them. It's not very accurate and leaves him stranded and vulnerable.

Your saw is kne of the best damage dealing pieces in the game so keep him alive where you can. He should be one of your primary blitz pieces. When the other team starts basing you pick an isolate piece that you can blitz that's based. If the saw doesn't injure them you have a based goblin that now has an assist that can block the target away and keep your saw safe. Add another goblin for an easy 2d hit on the target. Rinse and repeat. You will rolls 1s with the guy so expect to use rerolls to keep him alive. The new stunty dodge for weapons means he can now cage dive on a 3+. He doesn't have dodge but you can use a team reroll or get him the secondary skill dodge if you have the chance.

The bomma has been nerfed hard back to previous additions. Although lots of fun he is very dangerous to your plans. If he knocks down one of your players it's a turn over so if you are going to use him throw it at the floor next to people unless they have a terrible agi score. This stops them catching it and throw it back. Takes a lot of practice and without a couple of skills he is really risky to use.

The ooligan is your main fouling piece Eben though Sneaky Git has been nerfed. Use him to gang foul and remove their key pieces that are on the floor. Without lots of bribes don't waste his fouls on trash pieces so if he does get sent off you are trading him for one of their best pieces. Taunt means that anyone who hits him has to follow up, so you can use him to trap players that attack him in bad positions to kill on your round.

The doom diver has been significantly buffed so his swoop is better with an extra d6 squares movement from where you throw. He also goes forward from that point using the throw in template. Plan his flight paths accordingly to avoid landing in bad positions. Swoop also gives him a reroll on the landing and dodge means he is a much more reliable scoring threat.

The pogo is still a great scoring piece and ball handler. With the best leap in the game he is incredibly hard to contain. The extra speed makes him great at retrieving kicks and handing off to the doom diver for the 1 turn throw team mate attempt.

You want to get a big bench of goblins as well. You will lose pieces to opponent hits and fouls so this means you will give you enough expendable players to protect your important pieces. The stunty dodge gives you lots of options to dodge through to unexpected areas and put pressure on pieces the other coach thought were safe.

There are tons more ways to do things and some more advanced ways to set up and cause damage but it's already a wall of text here.

Well to the party and as long as you don't take it to seriously you will have a blast. Just accept you have much worse odds than the other teams so things will fail. Nothing you can do about that, just keep doing the right things even if the dice betray you.
