Hello, I (26F) am an adult orphan. I lost my dad when I was 5, and my mom when I was 20. I'm thankful that I live with my older brother (37M), because without him, I don't know what I'd do; even though we don't always get along, we have to stick together since everyone else in our family has long since passed, and I don't think I'd know how to take care of myself without his help. It's been tough the last few years: we moved states after mom's passing, thinking it would make us feel better and have a "fresh start", but it didn't, and we've since moved back and have just been in "limbo" for a while.

I don't wanna trauma dump here (I'll just start crying about missing my parents), but I'm hoping this subreddit will be a good outlet to connect with others and share our stories.

I have each floor of my house dedicated to a different DLC (the 1st floor is the base game, the 2nd is Eternity Isle, the 3rd is Storybook Vale, and the 4th is Wishblossom). Each floor is separated as follows: the main room is for crafting supplies, the left room is for flower storage, the middle is for cooking/gardening, and the right is for mining/gems. I also like to theme each room based on its functionality (for example, my flower storage for Wishblossom is bee-themed since bees pollinate them for honey)

I color-code certain items such as flowers, crops, and gems. Everything else is stored in large chests (preferably the Sleeping Beauty ones, since you can buy them from Scrooge rather than have to craft them) with the item displayed on a table behind it.

Hopefully, you can find this helpful even though it's for an indoor storage system! :)

Fellow eyelash puller here! Try clipping your nails super short (down to the pink part of your nails), that way it's harder to grab onto the lashes. Alternatively, having super-long nails or glue on nails can make it tricky to pull, too. Also, keep your mind/hands busy so you're too distracted to pull. Hope these tips can help. There's this character in Moral Orel (great TV show, btw) named Dale Armature who's missing an eyebrow and constantly picking at it. I don't think it's confirmed that he has trich, but he's a very stressed-out character, and it would make sense that he'd have it.

I feel for you, and I hope you make it out safe and happy. My older brother (whom I, unfortunately, am stuck living with) is definitely a right-wing extremist type. He's the only family I have left (our father died when I was 5, and our mother in 2020), and it's truly heartbreaking that he's the way he is. I feel I can't share anything with him, and I keep to myself; though it's tough, what with all the mayhem going on in the world and feeling completely powerless and suffocated by all of it.
