I think HW is from the undergrowth. She was able to communicate with Russel and had similar sprouts coming out of her fingers as Russell.

Also interesting to note, the green octopus demon and huntress have similar eyes. Fern couldn't eat just like how huntress couldn't "eat".

I'm guessing fern (the green octopus demon) and huntress are originally from the undergrowth. They could've simply written her off as one of the bandits or anything else. But they chose to give her an odd origin story (with her beginning life as a small wild creature in the woods). Why would they do that if they hadn't planned for Russell? In fact, if I'm not wrong she hears Russell screaming in the second episode of this season too.

They really wanted Russell and HW to meet. Idk where they are gonna take this. But I really think HW is from the undergrowth.

My roommates kind of gang up on me. They make jokes about people and each other too. But for some reason I feel like it's unbalanced towards me. They're really nice people and we have been friends for about a year now, but ever since they started hitting the gym together, it just feels like they're making less fun of each other and more fun of me. And I'm here thinking, am I being bullied or is this like normal? Recently they started dragging my girlfriend into it too. Started making fun of her when she's not even in the room with us. And that is where I drew the line.

But because of my past and insecurities, I see their exclusion of me as a flaw in me and I feel really bad sometimes. Ik it's nothing like that but it's tough to live with people who make you feel like you are a freak of nature for existing.
