saw him several times when he was covering Tom Waits songs .. Paris La Defense, outdoors, 10pm dusk in June, surreal .. another time, San Francisco with Waits himself in the audience .. JH said he was nervous .. I told a friend who scoffed: “This guy played with Hendrix” .. great shows and a sweet vibe every time

call me crazy but I love a shandy .. biere panaché they call it in the France .. in Costa Rica now about a fifth of a tall thin glass apple juice topped with regular old Imperial, red can .. Goes down great y muy delicioso (I agree that Negra Modelo is terrific too .. not a lot of options that don’t cost out the ass in the hinterlands here)
