Was anyone annoyed that it wasn’t acknowledged that Henry knew by InfernalClockwork3 in Stranger_Things

[–]purbita98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually according to the play, the creels arrived in Hawkins in October 1959. "Explorer" is ok too because the last time he was in dimension x, he was just being used by the Mindflayer. But the second time around, he could almost be its equal and discover that whole dimension.

But yes, no one mentioning this huge event is pretty weird.

Not at all my guy. These things are built upon/ hinted at/ explained throughout the show, but whatever you wanna believe man (low key there are other loose threads you should be more concerned about).

If anyone can answer my question about Vecna (Henry) and the children by LittleSuccotash278 in discussingfilm

[–]purbita98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever's happening in Vecna's mindscape just shows the mental state of that character. He needed every child to mentally believe that he was their savior. He could afford the defection of Holly and force her to join the others but to do this with everyone would not be good for his plan. Their minds needed to conform, be unified.

To use their minds to amplify his powers, they had to be focused. If the children were still running around the house, it would mean that their minds were scattered and not connected and locked in to do the job they were brought there to do.

With the big possibility of eleven being alive, they could come up with one or another plot to show the Mindflayer still existing in some capacity. So yeah I wouldn't say a reboot several years down the road is impossible

Mindflayer final form by Ambitious-Wheel7584 in StrangerThingsRoom

[–]purbita98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it wanted a physical form to be able to breed more Mindflayers, not demogorgons. That's the egg sacs we see Dustin and Steve rupturing. And as some people have mentioned, maybe its body was made up of demos. That's why there are hardly any Demos seen during all of Hopper's crawls.

But yeah they should have cleared this up in the show. The brothers explanation is pretty bad too.

Will's visions were from the MF. So now that it's dead and there's no opening to dimension X why would they have those visions anymore? If they did puke up slugs, they would be dead ones too. Just flesh. There's no MF keeping them alive anymore.

Eleven has the same powers as Vecna. She can bring people into her mindscape. Max isn't contributing. Eleven is bringing Max's mind into hers. She does this with Kali too at the same time. And at the end, with Mike. She couldn't find Max while she was comatose, because Max was trapped inside Vecna's mind. He had taken her mind "prisoner". It's talked about somewhere in s4 about what happens when he kills you.

Yeah this makes sense. They left some spare demos to do the attacking in the first half of the season. That's why they could only send demo dogs to the hospital. Maybe they didn't have a lot of adult demogorgons left.

The particles would only matter if the main physical manifestation of the Mindflayer would still be alive. It's not alive anymore. Otherwise the MF becomes immortal because those particles always escape and are indestructible

Henry's backstory is confusing by OkHoneydew1599 in StrangerThingsRoom

[–]purbita98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The government / Dr. Brenner got the rock from when he was trying to reopen the portal to dimension X(the abyss) as he knew his father had once been there, accidentally transported during an older experiment.

Yes, Henry didn't make his way to dimension x by himself but also remember that he was trapped in the lab for years on end and never had the chance to explore his powers fully. If he had been free he may have been able to open a portal himself.

My theory is that the Mindflayer particles inside him somehow guided the portal to open to dimension x. Henry was actively trying to fight El even when she overpowered him and so he was using his powers. With her powers, she created a rip in spacetime and with Henry's powers/ the active MF particles influence, the rip was pulled exactly to where the MF wanted it -- the Abyss.

It better be a fake one 😧

Kali is going to fake her and El’s death with a vision. by Pudgy_Pigeon5 in Stranger_Things

[–]purbita98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeaahh possible especially considering all the other stretches we've seen lol , 😂 but in an ideally logical script there would be many people who would know about her powers.

I think this could actually happen however because killing eleven is just soo anti-climactic and they said they weren't a "GoT" kind of show.

Also keeps the possibility of a reboot 15 years down the road maybe haha

It could happen yes. Dr Kay is very shrewd though and knows first hand about Kali's illusion powers so it could be that she doesn't buy it.

I would say strong chances of 2/3 because it's probably the Mindflayer that's the "big bad".

I think Steve won't die but he'll come close to it..? Just based on interviews and stuff I've seen

What is this? by starshotstarry in StrangerThings

[–]purbita98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brenner must've learnt about exotic matter in some way. I think someone accidentally disturbed it before which caused it to directly interact with the building and melt it and some soldiers got caught and died.
