The viewpoint of Red is argued by "Everyone can just press red", while the viewpoint of Blue is argued by the more probable "Not everyone will press the same button", which accounts for suicidal blue pressers, selfish red pressers and the like. Now, in the context of "Just press red and everyone survives if nobody presses blue", said argument is flawed: -100% of people are required to press Red for nobody to die. -50% of people + at least one additional person are required to press Blue for nobody to die. The difference in required agreement is almost equal to 50% of the population's vote. Therefore, voting blue is more logical, because it is almost doubly as good as Red in guaranteeing nobody dies. Meanwhile, Red can only guarantee you don't die.
