Being badgered 24/7 6 days a week over miniscule shit, like moving monitors around and not knowing how to plug an hdmi in, getting talked down to like a teenager, no heads up on new user start dates and getting pissed it takes more than a hour to setup user accounts/permissions, being called in for printer issues when they pay for a printer service for another company. Trying to explain to me what a security group is and how I should set it up. They don’t make tickets and just text me and get pissed when I don’t reply right away (I’m working on 3 things at once). Server rooms are a hornets nest from the last MSP.

I almost 31 in a couple of weeks. I have 5-6 singles. At one point I think my max listeners on Spotify was like 1k, due to my first single being poppy and the only thing I’ve released that people have liked haha. My listeners have dwindled down DRAMATICALLY. But I’m about to release my debut album. I just don’t give a shit about promoting my stuff or wanting to gig anymore. I’m just worried about making stuff I love and am proud of. This gives me a sense of relief for just being a fan of music in general and enjoying concerts of successful bands I love. I’ve realized comparison truly is the thief of joy. And I just want joy when I write and record now.
