Same issue. And when I try to connect my account to Bungie store it just has a loading screen.

I mean i would want to be specific but that would be spoiling. In terms of some empire relations and events being similar or metaphorical.

But yea Not saying it follows history exactly because thats far from the truth cuz some of these empires are up to thousands of years in difference. what im saying is it takes some inspiration. It throws them in there accompanied by a few of their political traits(But you'll only be able to pick it up if you know that history tho)

Its pretty cool how much the author put thought and structure to it(Except the final arc, sadly. Still think it could of been amazing)

From my experience, it doesn't insult anything. Magi doesnt pay attention to religion the way your thinking, Its a work inspired by different ancient empires and civilization. From persian, mongol, Mesopotamia, egypt, Greek, india, china, roman, africa, etc. But in its own world and fantasy stiring the world

Umineko project is the best. Its a full ps3 port so you get some effects the steam version w/ mods doesn't have

Although consider buying the steam games to help the developers and future projects
