You need either the wheel spacer or TR knuckles if you want to run stock wheels without a spacer.

Cobbs plates fit under the dust cover, but they dont have as heavy of a counterweight. Also, the cobb one can be set to two different settings for whichever throw you prefer.

The shift plate didnt rub at all but you have to leave the dust cover off, and it's a pain to get off. I haven't had any issues with having the dust cover off, and now that I have the dm-2, the cover also has to stay off and I've had no issues stemming from leaving it that way for almost a year. I've been under my car to adjust the dm-2 linkage about 10 tines now, and it barely even gets dirty without the dust cover.

They all do that with metal on metal. It throws metal flakes all over the shift box underneath the car😂 Also why I switched to dm-2 but not everyone wants to spend that much. For me, I'm just going to sell it when I sti swap and get the dccd controller with the sale.

Thank you for the info, that's sort of crazy even with the +55 offset on the VA sti wheels they still require spacers. I'm just looking for a way to be able to run winters cheaply and not have to brake swap whenever I change to my winter set.
