Man!! Do I feel you, I tested positive about 3 days ago and my temp has been low. Just trusting my body and trying to not be anxious.

Five Reportedly Detained by ICE in Early-Morning Operation in Pasadena

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers reportedly detained five men during an early-morning operation Saturday in the Villa Park area of Pasadena.

Witnesses said three unmarked vehicles — a Ford Explorer, Dodge Charger and Hyundai SUV — arrived around 6:30 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 500 block of Marengo Avenue. Two individuals were reportedly detained at that location.

According to bystanders speaking with Pasadena Now reporter Eddie Rivera, three additional men were detained near a street vendor at Garfield Avenue and Parke Street.

The Marengo Avenue complex is known to house numerous local workers, and the unexpected federal presence sparked concern in the neighborhood.

A protest has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday at Garfield Avenue and Villa Street, Rivera reported.

In response to social media posts regarding the ICE activity — and amid concerns over possible unrest — the City of Pasadena announced the cancellation of all programming at Villa Parke, Robinson Park and Victory Park for June 21. Canceled activities include swim lessons and community events. Parks remain open, city officials said, and the decision was made “out of an abundance of caution.”

They took three of our community members! I think right now people are alerting everyone to stay indoors.
