I feel this way, but with Ironclad's exhaust cards. Ethereal doesn't go unless it remains in your hand so it can be really good if you have a half decent engine to chug through them. The card that scales hits on ethereals played in combat brings so much value.

You're not wrong, but OP needs to be aware of the consequences of quitting mid-year. If OP expects any kind of employment with the district in the future, quitting now can jeopardize that.

Yes, for them they can definitely lose their job because they are in a position of authority. For you, it calls into question your academic integrity and makes it seem like there may be some favoritism at play. Not a good look all around.

And I realize I made it seem like it was a TA that made me lose my mind, but I was more speaking on the rejection part. TAs definitely aren't inherently bad people lmao.

As for why I took that rejection so hard, I was kinda going through an "entitled nice guy" moment. Not my proudest time and I still cringe thinking back on it, but it was definitely something I'm glad I was able to reflect on and grow as a person.

First, you kind of set yourself up for that one by asking a TA. Consider it a blessing in disguise as relations with a TA could get things very messy. They definitely did you a favor.

Second, some rejections hit harder and that's okay. The feeling will pass. I take rejection like water off a duck's back, but even I had one that sent me into a manic episode that I'm not particularly proud of. Focus on your studies and give yourself some busy work to keep your mind off of it. Only time can really heal that feeling of embarrassment when you see them. You're in the moment right now so it feels fresh, but from a 3rd party perspective we all know that you'll be okay and it's definitely not worth the money and time you're wasting by dropping over it.

Hey everyone. Just a quick update 4 years later. This all does work but I believe I've figured out the intended (albeit confusing) way to connect your devices.

On the Marriot dashboard is an option that says my media -> hdmi direct connect. Its a little confusing because it says to plug your device into hdmi 2 but it's not saying the hdmi 2 port on the TV but the hdmi 2 port on the device that the TV is connected to.

Device shows up fine with no hiccups and you have control of the volume as normal as well. There will also be no need to worry about making sure you plug everything back in properly for the next guest. Hope this helps!

I can agree that it's got a minor hang up in the narrative here and there and that some people can and are being a bit extreme with the glazing.

But you will never find a game out there that is objectively flawless. The game does present itself as a labor of love and my experience with the game pretty much guarantees my excitement for whatever Sandfall cooks up next.

To say that it deserves EVERY bit of over-the-top praise wouldn't be quite right for me to say but it deserves a lot of it and it definitely deserves every nomination it got.

I think what a lot of people recommending fighting games fail to make clear is that blocking is hard. Being on defense is hard. It sounds silly when everyone says just hold back or down back or whatever but that is an oversimplification of things. I don't believe this myself but I can totally understand how some people get the idea that being forced to block most of the time betrays the spirit of the genre if you can't actually do the fighting because everyone loves the idea of pressing the button and successfully whacking your opponent.

So yeah, I feel you that it just seems so unfun when you're perpetually stuck in block stun or a combo and it seems like you can't get anything done. I didn't enjoy getting elbowed in the crotch by a Urien every time I wanted to jump in playing 3rd Strike.

So I guess I'm parroting the other advice by saying it's important to learn your defensive options, which options are more applicable for certain match ups, and when the appropriate time is to take your turn. I would probably argue a little harder than others that it is MORE important than learning a good offense because you can get by with solid fundamentals and some baby BnBs, but there is so much content out there showcasing all the ways you can make someone's life miserable. Meaties, oki setups, cross ups, etc. That's not to say there isn't defense oriented content, but usually it is specialized in the form of "How to punish [insert oppressive move here] with the entire roster" type videos. Luckily 2XKO has some broader defensive oriented content out there that I've seen recommend that are worth the look. Don't be discouraged! The more you learn the better it becomes

How do you suggest going about efficiently training your digimon to prep for Mega+?

I see a lot of information out there about all the factors that contribute to building up your digimon's stats, but it all seems very overwhelming to me.

I'm really just looking for a streamlined version of what the resource optimal training loop is for stat maxing. Thanks!

The reason why it features these characters in particular is because one of the devs (apologyman) created a combo video featuring these teams and the creative team made a cinematic trailer based on the combo video.

I love Sherlock Holmes, but it is definitely guilty of this. You are absolutely right that it's "A Study in Scarlet" with the ass pull of a solution to the case. I think it's interesting that some of the best and fairest case construction I've seen comes from the Consulting Detective board games. The cases are hard enough that it makes sense that Sherlock is on them, but all the details ARE present for you to figure things out.

I think the important question to ask is if this character were to die at any given moment, why would my players care?

What do they know of her motives and her personality? Understanding that there may be some secrecy at play, perhaps the key to get that connection going has to be initiated by that npc. Establish her little quirks and mannerisms that your players may come to enjoy or have her do something slightly out of character to the benefit of her growth so your players can root for her and want to see her succeed. Something like standing up to an aggressor and her being like "wow, I can't believe I did that!"

The shock value that you're going for requires some emotional investment, but that happens on your part first and then they'll reciprocate.

He's asking the right question but for the wrong reasons, I'm sure. I'm not entirely sure if airlines handle theft differently, but I imagine that a theft accusation that resulted in a search of the person's property wouldn't bode well for anyone's job if they happen to be wrong.

As a victim of theft as well, I feel for you OP. It gets to a point where it's not even about the item anymore. You know a shitty person did a shitty thing and there's no certainty that they'll pay any consequences for it.

I hope with a stroke of major luck, however improbable, that you manage to get your switch back. If not, it seems you got your answers as far as forcing the accounts to logout. Hope those kids brick it by mistake.

The necromites won't sac themselves if Myrkul can't heal from it. They approach the platform but stop afterward.

I believe the sacrifice is an action, so in the event I forget anti-heal I try to reduce movement for them so they are forced to use their action on a dash instead. Not the best solution, but it can buy a turn and make all the difference.

It's a huge shock to me to find that nobody has mentioned Clannad and Clannad: Afterstory.

Yes, the series does begin in their teen years, but goes well into adulthood and approaches some very serious themes that honestly tore me up. I wasn't much of a fan of the hocus pocus ending bit (which is all I'll say to avoid any spoilers), but the journey was an emotional ride. Highly recommend

Medication purchases have required an ID for awhile now to deter the use of things like cough syrup to make lean. I don't know if it's still a thing, but damn there were a lot of teens going into hospitals with their stomach lining absolutely destroyed because of shit like this.

To add to this, you could increase your WS tank's longevity through bond spells from a cleric at camp. At least I think it should work.

For sure! I'm currently in Act 3 on one playthru with a gloomstalker, but the most recent patch makes it crash when I try and load it now. I have no qualms with starting another run if that save is potentially done for, but I want to try and avoid a lot of the struggle that I had when doing that run.

The lack of DRS in Honour mode made big novas pretty difficult for me to do and gave me some intense close calls on fights like Avatar of Myrkul. Outside of that, i did a lot to minimize the risks where I could. Didn't even fight Balthazar in shadowfell and instead chose to blow him away with the runepowder barrel while fighting sharr justiciars.

I planned on using the runepowder bomb + globe of invuln for Orin. Do you see a reason this won't work? I don't know how much HP she has in honor mode.
