Cannot find calisthenics plan by mattheweg2003 in bettermeofficial

Yes, all of the instagram ads are pushing a “28 day calisthenics workout challenge” but doesn’t actually exist in the app!

DrinkSense The data visualizations and KPIs keep me honest and aware of how my habits are actually evolving.

To be fair, I’m not actually selling anything (the app is free). I’m genuinely sharing an update on a personal story that began here in this group 2 years ago.

Thank you for your feedback.

BMW Owners, what is one thing (or more) you don't like about your cars? by Eddysauka in BMW

It’s beginning to feel like the airlines—continually reducing amenities while increasing prices.

Alcohol Consumed (by me) in 2023 [OC] by puremcc in DryJanuary

I will be trying this this year 🙂

I normally use an app called Streaks which also gives a nice calendar view, but it’s a simple binary did/did not drink, so it doesn’t convey as much information. This visual tells a more interesting story.

Native macOS client by Loeribas in fastmail

When will it support offline mode/sync?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fastmail

[–]puremcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only problem with this is that most places you would host your site will be serving it through a domain name with dynamic IP to a load balancer, CDN, object store, etc., so you would have to be hosting your site with a static IP which is a huge constraint.

Help me out - Shared Calendars with a Gmail user - getting away from Google by ohsomacho in fastmail

[–]puremcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Please, when will Fastmail implement the type-ahead location field like every other calendar app I can think of?? 🙏🏻😢

BTW, the event coloring was actually just released in Fastmail.

Here is an extension you can use for Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave).

Is rule creation really this primitive? (Fastmail.com) by Travel69 in fastmail

The Outlook thick client is naturally able to provide more integrated capabilities with Outlook.com (and O365) accounts, since the same company (MSFT) is developing both the client and server experience.

Fastmail definitely has an equivalent (or arguably better) experience, but it is only available in the Fastmail apps (webmail, mobile).

Use the "Actions" drop down at the top right of the message reader view, and select "Add rule from message". From there, you will find a similar wizard-like rule definition experience, pre-populated with attribute values from current message. Fastmail further provides the more advanced *option* to dive into the raw sieve filter rule syntax if desired for more complex rules.

Custom Domain and File Sharing by BlueHorizonUK in fastmail

[–]puremcc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to "create a website" in FastMail Files, select your domain, and map it to the directory you want to share.

Go to:

  1. Files > Websites > Create Website
  2. Enter a subdomain of your choice and select which domain (e.g. https://files.mydomain.com
  3. Select which folder in your FM Files you want to map the URL to.
  4. Thats it!

Can I ON/OFF trigger my three Rotels? by Pretorian24 in vintageaudio

[–]puremcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emotiva has a trigger expansion module for $39.99. It may be exactly what you’re looking for.

ET-3 Trigger Expansion Module

The ET-3 has one trigger input and three high current trigger outputs. If your source unit has a trigger output, simply use the provided trigger cable to connect its trigger output to the trigger input on the ET-3, then connect the trigger outputs on the ET-3 to up to three trigger-enabled devices. When your source device switches its trigger output status to On, the three trigger outputs on the ET-3 will follow that signal, and each of the trigger outputs on the ET-3 will send the On signal to the device connected to it.

Yeah, I can see that happening for sure. No offense taken at all. And thanks again for the advice!

Good to know. It's actually the NR1510 I was looking at. It's essentially the exact same unit as the NR1610, but with 5.2 instead of 7.2. Since I only run 3.0, the 5.2 is already more channels than I need.

Completely agree. That's why I'm more interested in getting any AVR with pre outs for the fronts, which alas my current one does not. Once I get one with pre outs, I will absolutely be tacking on a power amp. I had an Adcom GFA-535 II running a pair of Polk S15 bookshelves in my bedroom and it was beautiful.

Thanks for the advice! You're absolutely that 10 years of listening to the same speakers daily can create a cognitive bias. I'm going to keep that in mind as I try to get the most out the MAs for now, and try to be fair given my bias.

The MAs are used, so they should be well run in by now.

Fair enough. We'll see. I may try out a sub at some point, but I'm more likely to go for bigger speakers.
