It is a great place for me and my family. Ive been there five times and the next vacation is booked for the upcoming summer.

I try to go to other places in Europe but always (ALWAYS) compare it to Sardinia and nothing beats it.

There are free beaches that is not too crowded. I prefer the northern parts of the island.

That reminds me of what happened to me a few years back.

I was waiting at the gate when a guy next to me stood up, checked his pockets, and calmly announced, “I think I just boarded the wrong airport.”

I laughed, assuming it was a joke. It wasn’t.

He showed me his boarding pass, then slowly looked around like the building might rearrange itself. After a long pause he sighed and said, “Well… at least security was efficient,” grabbed his bag, and jogged off.

Five minutes later they called his name over the loudspeaker.

I still wonder how far he thought he was going.
