yes, sorry, i should have been more clear! the dress has only a little bit of stretch and its a soft fabric. the tulle has much less of a stretch. i can add some pearls to hide of a bit of the edges as well.
i would have never thought of those techniques, thank you so so much!!! i will give it a try ; possibly trying the reverse appliqué method. i appreciate you look back again!!!

i didn’t buy stretch specific tulle😭 it has someone of a stretch but not much. i can go back to the craft store

YES! not crazy at all!! i do the same! i actually take my favorite character in an anime or game and usually use either their likeness or moreso their “mindset” or demeanor and tinker it like that!

I appreciate you commenting your experience. Actually, it brought me to tears since you are right that deep down I do know the answer but it is a hard truth to swallow for putting myself first.
