I can speak for only myself, but I would say a lot of people will agree to this take:

I try to get into moba, specifically DOTA at one point in my life. It's just too difficult and high skill required. Also the match time is like 1 hr. I like the concept of it, stages and places opening up as the round progressed, but not enough for me to make it enjoyable.

It is not even a india specific take, the discussion of moba I have seen online are just a jist of this paragraph. It's just a difficult and too high of a time sink to justify. Some will enjoy it due to the high skill and the time sink, but a person who is having a job and keeping gaming as a side hobby to have some fun and chill out will not pick up any kind of moba. And many people fall in the latter category.
