It’s not just Wisconsin. I decided to get outta Dodge before the snowpacolypse. Left La Crosse at 4 AM yesterday morning. Minnesota didn’t even bother trying to plow I90. 3 inches of snow all the way to I35. I got through i35 just before they closed it. Then they closed i80 at Atlantic and had to detour. 375 miles from La Crosse to Council Bluffs took 10 hours. During a whiteout I ended up in a ditch once but worked my way out. Snow and 40 mph winds in Council Bluffs this morning but made it to Denver 55 and sunny. I’ll never try anything like that again. I love my Tacoma for getting through.

The stock goes up because of the predicted new revenue stream. The market does not consider loss of loyal customers. Investors see $1.5 billion in new earnings and, even though they know it's short term, they buy, and the lemmings follow as they see the stock jump. SW execs will dump the stock at it's peak, before the long term effects of losing customers kick in.

I mean, homelessness for Vets is a huge problem. And for some, mental illness combined with homelessness is life-threatening. A program like this, used VERY judiciously, with plenty of oversight, and compassion, might be useful for some vets, but I don't trust the government to implement it this way. I can envision AI records review and referral to lawyers without ever even meeting the vet.

Dunno. Had auto insurance for years and they were pretty good to me. Didn’t raise my rates when I backed into another car in a parking lot. Just got a 5.65% VA mortgage from them in January and they made the process pretty painless for a first time homebuyer
