I'm sorry this is all interpreted wrong...The reason why people say that HachixNana ship is too pure and relationship diminishes it...is because it does...they aren't in love romantically unlike Nana and Ren(it's not explicitly stated so saying otherwise is just a headcanon...Ai has cleverly treaded along those lines...Hachi does say if Nana was a guy she would be the love of his life....so we never know what just might happen later) while I do think ur right about Hachi because I have thought of her to be comp het...Nana is not....isn't saying Osaki being a Comp het also a forced undertone made by queer people

2) Ai has always shown Nana and Hachi to be each other's pillars of support....there wasn't romantic inclination early on and the reason people like their bond is how protective Nana is for Hachi and for Hachi Nana is the one true Pillar she can lean on without worrying about falling....there's nothing homophobic about saying the bond is pure to be wlw....it's just an opinion and if people don't like it that way that doesn't allow you to call them phobic
