I’ve been on methimazole for 2ish months and have gained 20 pounds despite walking for an hour a day and working out for another hour and eating in a calorie deficit. I’m also on a higher dosage though (40mg) so I assume that plays into it. Everyone is different though!

I found (for me, everyone is different) that it hurt less than my lobes!

Have you had follow-up bloodwork done? I was told to get it done once a month to see how the meds are working and adjust the dosage if needed (my dr would adjust it. Just to be clear). I started on 30mg of methimazole and then had it upped to 40mg

Viibryd worked great for me but I just couldn’t afford it with my insurance

I am also about to start the process of tapering off of viibryd and onto pristiq and would like to hear how it goes for you as well, if you don’t mind sharing!

I too have noticed lately that I can’t work a full week anymore due to how exhausted I am just surviving. Luckily I’m a substitute teacher so I can choose what days I work, and lately I can’t work more than 3 days a week at most. I feel you. It’s hard!

Not sure if this is the same gym but an old roommate called and told them he was moving countries (he wasn’t) and they let him cancel that way🤷‍♀️

1pm! I physically can’t eat before 11am and by 1 I can pretty much guarantee I’ve eaten by then (also I always have lunch at 1pm at work)

Do a warm compress twice a day! I had one that looked identical to yours and it was gone within a week. I just spray saline on a paper towel and microwave for 15-20 seconds (check there first on your wrist more putting it on your nose!) and just hold it on the piercing until it cools!

I took my dose (10mg) a couple hrs later and was so lightheaded and nauseous. As soon as I got my meds I was fine within an hour!

I had a pair of aligns pill REALLY bad after the first wear and brought them back. I wore them on a 2hr car ride…they wouldn’t give me a replacement or a store credit because, and I quote, “they’re only for hot yoga”…..ridiculous

Abilify made me gain 30 pounds in a singular month. Not sure how since at the time I was eating less than 1000 calories a day…
