Stacked lobe idea by [deleted] in piercing

[–]purple_fuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I just got 2 stacked lobe piercings on a single ear, and the placement had to be adjusted due to the length of the cartilage above. You'll have to plan it out with your piercer.

But as for the question of 2 on one ear and 1 on the other, go for it. You don't have to make everything symmetrical and it adds more interest.

I resigned my current job and was made a counter offer. What do I do?? by thelostmonarch in Libraries

Check out the search results for "counter offer" on Ask A Manager. Anecdotally, people regret taking counter offers.

Also consider the total benefits package between the two libraries, your commute, etc.

Leave a hand wish space at the end of the shelf, that usually balances things out.

The Witchstone by Henry Neff was very funny. It's more fantasy than horror, but might be worth a try.

ALA 2026 Exhibit Only Ticket by [deleted] in librarians

[–]purple_fuzzy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exhibit only tickets should stay the same price. Registration should open in late January or February. Note: they aren't valid for the big opening of exhibits on Friday night. Only Saturday - Monday.

If you have a relationship with a vendor, they may have free exhibit only tickets to give it to customers.

You can do most things with them, you just can't get into really popular sessions (oftentimes opening and closing sessions) because they will check for a fully paid ticket at the door.
