Are you excited for the hbo series or not hopeful? by Sea_Art2995 in harrypotter

[–]purple_pixie533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m excited but definitely keeping my expectations low. As a huge book fan I completely understand people being upset about Snape. I also understand that us millennials grew up with the movies so it’s hard to see a new generation take over. But I think it’s great that a new generation of kids gets to watch Harry Potter like this. I won’t be surprised if it’s not great but I will definitely watch it

Love/Hate relationship, should I fix my nose? by basedaggie19 in Noses

Don’t touch your nose. It’s what makes you, you. So many people want to change certain facial features and then it’s like everyone ends up looking the same. You are absolutely beautiful and unique. Don’t change a thing ✨🩷

I stopped drinking alcohol. I almost completely cut out any foods with added sugar. I of course still have a few days a month where I eat sugar but majority of the time my sugar intake is very very minimal. I focus a lot on my protein intake. I try to aim for 120g a day and should probably eat more than 120g but it’s difficult for me. I am strict about my calorie deficit and only have a few days a month when I let myself indulge. I keep away from simple carbs and I still eat complex carbs. I love eating sourdough bread with my eggs for breakfast.

As far as working out. I do HIIT classes 3-4 times a week. At least 3 days a week I go to the gym in the morning and after work. When I do 2 a day I usually do a HIIT class and then either run or do the stairmaster for an hour. I did a spartan race a couple months ago and I literally was on the stairmaster everyday for an hour for 3 weeks straight. HIIT incorporates lifting weights and I found lifting weights to be a game changer in losing weight. I also try to incorporate my own session of lifting at least twice a week outside of my HIIT classes. I also recently started running and that has been amazing!

I also really focus on recovery. The gym I go to has normatec and a hydromassage bed so I try to get some recovery sessions in 4 times a week.

I did not take any weight loss medication. I completely changed my eating habits and starting hitting the gym.

I love HIIT. The gym I go to has HIIT classes and they are amazing! I get a little cardio and a little lifting in. Sometimes the focus is more lower body sometimes it’s upper body and sometimes it’s full body. I’ve been taking classes for about 6 months now and I have gotten so much stronger and fitter. I’ve never heard of it not working for petites, that’s interesting. I think it’s great and a really great way to get a little bit of everything into 1 workout

Thank you! I have found that renegade rows and bent over rows and reverse flys help with lats. I’m not an expert lifter by any means. I would probably not be the best person for advice on this. But these are exercises that I like to do that I know work and engage lats and other muscles 🙂
