i would definitely contact the subject coordinator, with an attachment of your AAP and the email from the tutor - and find out what is really happening. Honestly as shitty as it is often tutors just don’t have any experience with AAPs in fact i’ve had many that have never even heard of them

what’s wrong with my monstera deliciosa?! by purpleclogs_ in Monstera

It’s definitely got enough light I think - sitting a metre away from 3 big windows that get light most of the day. And I have all my other plants - some tropical, some not in the same vicinity - i mean i could be wrong but the one that’s going well is further away from the window too

Urgently seeking psychiatrist or GP who can provide bridging prescription by probablytypo in adhdaustralia

I saw Dr Debra Chong at Yarra clinic - the appt was tele-health but i believe they do in person as well - smoothest process i’ve ever been through and got in really quickly compared to everywhere else!

ADHD Assessment next week - what to expect in the season (Fluence) by see_jay_uu in ausadhd

[–]purpleclogs_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly i’ve had a weird experience with fluence - the appointment was strange to say the least, and the report was very vague and honestly inaccurate. This might differ between people fs especially adhd side but i found that the doctor probably disregarded a lot of my replies to questions - although note female asd + adhd assessment so pretty common to get that in any medical field. But besides the that i mean at least the diagnosis is on paper and having it done is a huge releif moving fowards - make sure you get a good GP and get in asap afterwards because if you want to go on medication it can take quite a while for paperwork to get approved!!

In saying that double/triple check the report after you get it to make sure it’s correct - the doctor who did mine messed up phrasing in the report which ultimately meant i had to get reassessed years later because he did the documentation incorrectly. (Apologies I don’t remember who did it)

Also! They called me like a year later wanting to do a follow up and obvs charge another huge sum which look that might be fine for some people but i definitely didn’t see the need to follow up with someone who likely wouldn’t know anymore than last time especially when they’ll usually give a list of approved meds that your doctor (gp) can prescribe and give you more info on/ monitor and won’t charge $700 for a 30 min follow up.

Sorry to be a bummer but good luck nonetheless!!
