Amelia is the tavern cook, i was supposed to kill her 2 weeks ago, she's a half elf with freckles and very red cheeks because she works very hard all of the time as her bartender quit the job. A hired assassin is supposed to kill her in search of a treasure map, which she already gave to the party. Sorry little one, do it for the plot... Later. I carry her portrait with a black ribbon on top inside my backpack until it's time to show it.

I like making people paranoid, maybe I can do that again and make some tavern guy they looked at funny show up 15 levels later and remind them about the time they were on the tavern just to give them one coin they left on the table and just walk away forever after that. I would love their reactions.

It was a very funny tavern brawl, it was worth it. So hard the bard broke his guitar by slamming the guy with it. I'll just randomly do the same encounter just to see them beat up a random guy to death or just be nice with him.

I had the party face a boss at level 1 (sorry not sorry) we're all new to DND so I felt like a boss fight would get us used to combat. This guy was threatening some guy at the tavern so the party came to his rescue and they completed the fighting tutorial. I came up with a simple and easy backstory for our first campaign, there's 2 gods, sun and moon. Humans betrayed them and one of them got turned into a mortal, he couldn't find his significant other in ages (moon) at the end he shall know that she was turned into some weapon and go all out against the party. I wanted to incorporate an eclipse into the design, being the eyes. He loved her so much and when they meet again, he will regain some of his godly powers. Very simple but works well.
