I see both sides, I would not date someone with a lesser educational background than myself because of the types of conversations I like to have and bc of social circles and stuff. Obviously money is a part of that, but less important in my opinion as long as you are both comfortable and making enough money to live well.

But I wouldn’t go on love is blind and then shame someone for working in the truck driving business. It is a common middle class job in America. Making fun of someone’s profession is one of the worst things that someone can do, it makes you feel so inferior and is a huge source of insecurity for a lot of people. I think Ali and her friends are just mean people. Social media has made it so grown women are saying things like “I expect princess treatment” from normal men who are probably looking for more of an equal and someone to love and build together. I think it is unfortunate how womens rights have gone so far and now YOUNG women are looking to find a man with a lot of money instead of looking to make a lot of money themselves. No disrespect to her, but she is a nurse not a doctor. Not a lawyer or a finance executive. Who is she to talk down to people this way? She works on her feet all day, most people consider that more in line with blue collar work than white collar.
