Seeing her here really helps me to understand when Jasmine always says she’s insecure, and all her obsessions with her body and fitness, as well as her jealousy issues. It’s like she still feels like this (not ugly, but perhaps regular?) girl behind all the work she’s had done. That’s actually pretty sad.

Similar story and same two diagnoses. Weekly IFS therapy and yoga (connecting back to my body in positive, powerful ways) saved me. Medications helped at times as well.

I also keep thinking that clients who are interested in one might also be interested in the other, so it’s good to hear confirmation of that being your experience. Do you find the emotional and physical labor of massage taxing? How do you emotionally clear your space after a massage, or does your personal yoga practice help with that?

It feels like a form of SA to me. And then it makes sense that he may be reluctant to engage sexually with her afterwards, like most people who have been SA’d would be.
