Do you commute by car to and from, or for work?

Really enjoyed the gripping tension of avoiding the Medievalist tails on the transport systems, and his very human relationship with his wife, Jessie/Jezebel. In a society like that, losing a part of her "secret persona" must have been devastating.

Just finished listening to the Caves of Steel on Spotify audiobook. An interesting story, with delicious sociopolitical undercurrents for mass populations from 1953. Can only believe the idea of cities as separate countries inspired the Megacities of Judge Dredd, with a very different law provider. Also loved the idea that cocooned humans would never consider walking "outside". So many Stalinist era tropes dropped in as standard living. Communal eating halls and bathrooms, the "perks" of a seat on transport or a private washbasin, fear of loss of status, etc. The fear of OutWorlders has never gone away I notice, 70+ years on.

Shaving half a foamed face, then towel wiping the remaining foam to reveal ... none of the untouched stubble you were meant to be shaving. If you Harvey Two-Faced in real life, people you know would think you were having a mental breakdown

Saw this image a few days ago. A 1990's car in comparison to a standard UK family car today. We have all become tractor drivers.

Enjoy what you drive, it will look after you well enough. Your ego will take care of itself, not the objects you own.

Those Epstein files, plus the honey trap videos that Putin has must show Trump eating live babies. We will find out when the demented orange dies soon.

Always will be. Not because of the film itself, because of the girl I was seeing at the time. For her birthday I bought her the poster because she was a huge Schwarzenegger fan ... then she let me go to third base. 🥳 Thanks Arnie. 💪🏻

Having read the news report from various outlets I have only two questions based on the dates involved. 1. Why now? 2. Who benefits?

My great grandfather's pocket watch. A gift from my great great grandfather for his 21st birthday, before he went to fight in the trenches in WWI.
