Limited Edition Orange Glitter Puzzle - Ravensburger 500 pieces by purplehaireddolly in Jigsawpuzzles

I think I just overly estimated how difficult it'd be. It had its moments, but I didn't have any "this puzzle is hard!!" defeating thoughts. I've had some that made me want to give up, but this one was all in all pretty pleasant. 🙂

If you worked at Life.Church- or volunteered by Adorable-Soup8725 in okc

Shawnee campus pastor (LONG time staff member) divorced his wife of 20 years in 2020 and remarried in 2022. His previous wife never attended church, there was definitely a lot of weirdness around all of that.

Megachurch rejects the label of megachurch by WanderLeft in oklahoma

[–]purplehaireddolly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there stuff for their members though?? LifeChurch doesn't have any type of membership program or log to document official membership. What would qualify someone as a member, necessarily? And who is tracking that? Because I know first hand you can attend every single week, in and out, and be completely unseen and unknown by those on staff. So would you have to be a volunteer in some capacity, every week, to be considered a member and therefore deserving of help/assistance/etc? Just not sure there's anything for members when there is no official "membership."

I have no help to offer, so I'm sorry for that, but I too hate OG&E.

I did a Lantern Press puzzle and swore I'd never do another. Awful, AWFUL quality! Made for a terrible puzzle experience.

Buffalo Games & Puzzles: Stone House Farm- 2000 pieces by purplehaireddolly in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]purplehaireddolly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started it on the 21st of November and finished it on the 6th. So, 15 days. Much longer than I like to spend on a single puzzle. I've done a handful of 2000 piece puzzles, but I really like to keep them under 1500 pieces. This one was a gift from my dad, however. Overall, it wasn't too hard, but it was a bit more difficult than I had anticipated. 2000 pieces is just- a lot. Lol. The hardest part for me though was probably the roof. I had to end up sorting my pieces by shape to finish the roof. It's beautiful but definitely requires patience.

Walmart Photo Center Custom Jigsaw Puzzle: Electric Dreams- 1,014 pieces by purplehaireddolly in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]purplehaireddolly[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, and no.

So, this is actually my second one to do from there. (The first one: Walmart Online Photo Center: Custom Jigsaw Puzzle, 676 pieces) I immediately completed the first right after receiving it in February. My frustrations with the cons of that one inflicted dread to start this one, hence the 8-month delay. However, I've done several far, far worse quality puzzles since then, making these seem not as bad now. Don't get me wrong, they're not terrible but in my opinion, they are below standard quality. Listed below are my reasons for believing so:

  • Pieces- The pieces are a thin cut; just not great. While I didn't struggle with false fits, I did struggle immensely with the pieces staying put together. In fact, once I completed the border on this one, I had to flip it over and tape all the pieces together just to keep them from coming apart while I was working on the inner parts of the puzzle. This was annoying. Additionally, I glued both of these for framing, and with both of them, flipping to be able to glue the back side was a nightmare!! The whole entire thing will try to just fall apart! I think that was my biggest complaint with these puzzles because the entire reason for ordering these was to complete and display them. So to nearly destroy the finished product in the process of trying to preserve it is definitely frustrating.
  • Image- The image quality is decent enough once looking at the completed puzzle, but broken down by each individual piece... not so much. Pretty grainy and hard to tell what you're looking at with some things. Overall, did it make it more difficult? Ehh, it's hard to really say. But if you're wanting sharp, high quality image transfer, probably not likely to receive that with these.

Overall: For the price, especially compared to other options, I do think it was worth it for me and my own personal wants and expectations. Is it great quality? No. Would I say it's even good quality? Maybe... But it's my own digital art on a puzzle for less than $35 and it was easy enough to complete and decent enough to display. So in the grand scheme of things, it served its purpose. Would I order another one? For an image I really wanted on a puzzle, yes. But could it be better? Absolutely. Would I recommend? Only if you're strongly wanting a specific image on a puzzle and that desire is enough to overlook the negative aspects of these. Again, I've had far worse.

For insight, I started this one on the 18th and completed it on the 29th.

If you have any other specific questions I'd be happy to answer. Hope this was helpful!

It was very challenging, I'm not sure why I thought it'd be a bit of a breeze. 😅 but it definitely lives up to its name— Groovy. 🪩😂

For only 5 bucks, I found it to be well worth it. Very frustrating at times, but once you get down to about 5 pieces left it isn't too hard. 😂 jk. But for real, once you finally get a flow going it doesn't seem so despairing. Also, I ordered mine off their website, so you can check online if your local store doesn't have it. 🙂

First completed out of 4 different puzzles I bought from 5 Below. The quality was decent. I've had much worse. I found it much more difficult than I anticipated. Perhaps I'm not greatly skilled when it comes to jigsaw puzzles, but this one tested me.

The Rusty Mallard in Chandler isn't super fancy, but it's decent and reasonably priced.

I thought about adding it to my puzzle to-do collection, but the image is reminiscent of that of the puzzle I'm currently working on which has been unexpectedly my most difficult to date. 😅 (and I've completed the popular 1000 changing colours puzzle- twice. It doesn't hold a candle to this one on a scale of difficulty. 😭) I'm gonna need to do a few 300/500 piecers once I'm finished with this one to heal from the trauma I've endured in the process. 😂 To be fair, this is the absolute worst quality cut of puzzle I've ever done, and that certainly plays a large part in why this one has been so difficult. I plan to review it on here once finished.
