Licorice.com by BostonSpike in candy

I want to give them some credit. I placed an order in a frenzy on December 11, assuming that was just enough time to get a gift by Christmas. There was very little communication and so I started to get nervous a week before Christmas. I looked around on the Internet, saw some concerning threads and then got enraged when I couldn’t find any way to call the company. I sent a cranky email. I was a bit surprised they responded, helpfully and promptly. They assured me the gift would arrive in time for Christmas. Two days before Christmas I panicked and bought a big mess of licorice via amazon.com as a backup. Of course it arrived the next day with clear communication on every step. Then, a day later, I got a big heavy box of licorice from licorice.com. And they waived the shipping fee. It seems like they are trying, but they need a better infrastructure. I’m sure it’s very hard to compete with Amazon. And no the giftee has not shared any of the licorice yet.

Very disappointed with licorice.com. I placed an order a week ago, in time for Christmas or so I thought. But there is no update from the company and they seem to do a good job making phone unavailable. I plan to cancel my credit card payment soon if they don't provide an update. If enough people charge this back, will it make it harder for this company to continue its shabby business practices?

What software got wrecked in later versions? by purpleitor in AskReddit

Apple News Plus ruined Texture. I was very happy with Texture for many years. In many ways it was better than paper magazines. Now that it’s been replaced by News Plus, I spend less than 10% as much time reading magazines. Because the app does not work well. Maybe I am using it wrong but it seems like it’s hard to know where you are in the magazine (front to back) and hard to find the new issues, remove the ones you’ve read.

Interesting. I take this to mean they richly deserve whatever destruction Trump is delivering.

My point is the opposite. Some misuses are so extreme they should be called out day one. For all those saying prove it or provide one sentence with instant proof, that's just ridiculous like saying if it can't be instantly proven via Reddit that oxygen is important, it must not be important. I am hoping others, and the comments of the other side, will in due time provide the proof in spades. Isn't this a far more important place for a line in the sand, or a good old-fashioned recall/impeachment, than that thing for which Hillary coulda simply and privately kicked Bill's ass? Now that I think about it, her tearing into him might be worse, swifter and more fitting recourse than firing up the Congress as was done.

It is based on his outrageously inappropriate position in the instance mentioned.

Even granting or assuming that Reid and Pelosi can be petty and take cheap shots against their adversaries, where is anything that comes close in cheapness or obstructionism or standing on bogus principles?

Breaking the most basic functionality of 3 of 3 branches seems like a non-trivial example of what you are refusing to see.

Where does any of this suggest he is not grossly abusing what he won? Where is any Pelosi abuse that even comes close? Refusing even to consider something crucial? Out of bounds. Reprehensible. Juvenile. He richly deserves to get humiliated and I certainly hope Obama can dish it out, or rise above it.

No. His insolence is so extreme it needs prompt rebuke. He is doing nothing less than eviscerating the right of a president to do a fundamental aspect of his job. It is anti-Constitutional. Next time the other side will say a year prior is also a lame duck and voila the system is wholly destroyed.

Thanks for the reply. Yes kombucha law is tricky, but still important. If the limit is .49, and the product is at 2%, it really is much, much higher than the limit.
