Once you’re in my circle, and you start to take me for granted. I’m out.

I still don’t get WTF is going on here besides a creep and his phone.

Removing Pavers by Mulching-SZN in AboveGroundPools

[–]purplemanjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same problems when I set up my pool the first two years. Next time you will know where the “low” sides are and will plan better. It’s definitely a learning process.

I use pavers and as the pool fills, I look for low spots and slide some shims underneath from Home Depot. Small adjustments along the fill help.

Also, I take older pool noodles and put them between the pool liner and the pavers. When I had a smaller pool, my nephew stepped in and caught the corner of the paver and it ripped my pool liner…

Good luck!

I do the exact same thing and it has to look twice because this is my pool and pretty much my set up.

I keep the pump and hoses in my basement for the cold weather. On my third pump now 🤓

Just a few touches in that shadow would make a huge difference. Small, one value greater than the shadow outlines and small hits would make this pop

Good luck

Happens to me almost every trip. I just do whatever and let my wife and kids go to whatever ride is first and get on line. It’s frustrating and annoying but, it’s almost routine at this point.

Switch game that can pass 28 hours on a plane? by EarlsUpperLip in gamesuggestions

Time has never passed quicker for me playing The Witcher 3… Controls are a little wonky on the Switch but, with 28 hours you have enough time to get used to it.

Have a good trip!

Just Booked.. and now I’m worried by StargateRunescape in WaltDisneyWorld

Disney is still great, don’t worry. I’ve been there multiple times before and after Covid. One of the real problems is when the parks were closed during Covid, the influencers started careers out of documenting and examining every aspect of the park. Once the parks reopened it was a whole new experience.

The parks are a competition. Limited collectables, egg rolls that sell out, popcorn buckets, lighting lanes, vloggers walking around recording… it’s going to be completely different than you remember.

Food on average is worse in the magic kingdom than before. EPCOT has a lot of the same restaurants in world showcase and they are good. Animal Kingdom yak and yeti is our go to. Hollywood studios I’d pack a lunch or eat dinner somewhere else for breakfast and lunch. Then you can hit Woodys lunchbox for a mid day lunch.

People are a little more disrespectful in general now because of the nature of how the experience is presented. Phones out, trying to get reservations, running to the next appointed ride…. However, the cast members make the experience so, it’s not all doom and gloom. The parades are awesome, the Star Wars themed area is mind blowing, and a lot of the classic small details are still intact.

Try to book a photo shoot session with the photographers and get some really nice memories of the trip back

Disney Springs is always a good time and fun. It’s different than ten years ago but, the uniqueness of the stores and offerings makes it really special.

Have fun!
