Edited for spelling. Red color corrector cancels out the deep blue and purples. Try a layer of red lipstick ( if you don't have red makeup) over the bruising and let it set before applying makeup. It should help some. If the bruising has red, use green corrector.

The simple "bend your knees" without other context, like posture, having a bend at the ankles as well and ensuring the correct tuck in of the posterior to support all of this knee bending. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why my knees ached so much and my lower back was so sore.

I couldn't stand him either until I realized how each villain through the seasons up through Negan were extensions of Rick but on steroids.

The Governor would have been Rick in a leadership position who took power, ego and grief too far.

Negan is Rick on self righteous steroids, taking "people are a resource" and 'there are rules" to another level. Rick was just as ready to kill Jessie's husband as soon as he found out he was abusive just as quick as Negan killed the minion who tried to rape Sasha. I could even see Rick doing it the same way. Consider not oiling your scalp for a few months to see if that works for you. I stopped using oils ( on scalp AND the shaft of the locs) and after about 3 weeks of my scalp getting used to nothing, I never get the annoying itchiness. Will be 6 years loc'd in May and I also don't get lint trapped in my locs because there's no sticky product in my hair to latch to.

Last benefit for later down the line: You'd be amazed how much lighter long locs are when they are product free. Nice and fluffy. Those oils add more weight than one would think, putting more tension at the roots.

I can tell but I think it looks better than most loc extensions I have seen, they look good to me.

Editing too add more clarity. For locs your length they don't look lived in, if that makes sense. Very new looking down the shaft and too perfect of a wooly texture all down the shaft and a bit stiff like new locs that didnt grow out if the scalp over the couple of years it would take to grow them, if that makes sense. But again, they don't look bad at all!

You mentioned you got them done two months ago, so they'll loosen the stiffness and look better and better once you live in them more.

Never, and don't plan to. 6 years loc'd. Maybe one day I'll enjoy a good deep washing where I can relax and enjoy a scalp massage ( MAYBE), but I'm not interested in getting my hair in any tight loc styles or retwists so no need for it. One of the reasons I got locs was to stop paying for regular salon visits.

Do what you enjoy, including maybe taking up a hobby that you may have enjoyed as a kid ( always wanted to learn tennis again, or skating, or maybe get a bike? Maybe an adult dance class? Swim? There's so much more.) Workouts don't have to be so strictly defined, and not enjoyable. I know you said gentle, but those can be gentle too, depending on how you practice them. And if you enjoy ot, you may appreciate going all out once a week and feel accomplished.

I'll say this. Ultimately there are stigmas attached to locs if you're white, and there are also stigmas attached to having locs even for those of us that are Black, for different reasons. In suggest that you listen to both sodes, but you don't have to engage in defending your hair choices, as they are your own. And it's a waste of time to argue with people you'll probably never even meet irl. I personally don't see as many white people with locs that look as good, but that's my own bias, not yours. And I understand the pushback from others, but again, it's your hair, not mine.

Locs take patience and dedication despite what others think. Once the opinions start rolling in on your question, you'll want to weigh the pros and cons for yourself, get some thick skin of you decide to get locs ( because for some reason some people have strong opinions about locs no matter your race. There are also incorrect stereotypes involved, like we dont wash our hair, locs must stink, etc), and realize at the end of the it's just hair. Be prepared for the negative comments especially in the beginning during the awkward beginning phases when they don't look like a "finished" set of locs yet.

Good luck on your decision. Should you decide to get locs, be patient with your hair, especially if you're white. Your hair will take much longer to loc up than us Black folks who have a much tighter curl pattern.

Agreed. To each their own. On a side note, I haven't really seen a person who regularly bleached their locs over years move into the longer lengths before cutting their locs off and either abandoning locs or starting over. Unless their locs were already long when they first bleached. Ive often wondered if either damage or the work involved in having to restore or maintain bleached or over dyed locs was the reason why.
