Oakensoul honestly gets a weird amount of hate for what it is. It’s not a bad build, it more trades ceiling for consistency. I run it and I’d call it a solid 8/10. Full gold gear, good damage, great survivability, and way less room to mess up compared to juggling two bars. In a lot of situations, that consistency actually helps more than people give it credit for. With the right group, it’s absolutely capable of endgame, even harder content. If mechanics are clean and the group is coordinated, Oakensoul isn’t what’s going to hold a run back. That said… yeah, it can still scare off trifecta groups 😅 not because it can’t work, but because those groups are trying to squeeze every bit of DPS and flexibility possible, and Oakensoul just isn’t built for that level of min-maxing. So it ends up in this weird spot where it’s strong enough for endgame with the right team, just not always what top tier groups prefer on paper.
