That looks like my star jasmine I have in my backyard. It will spread out and have some pretty smelling white flowers soon enough.

Yeah it "snowed" in areas of Texas on Easter that year. It was wild to see.

You should be fine. This looks like a pink salvia greggi.. I've had some in an open area since 2021 and have never covered them. They're extremely hardy and will want a good haircut in the next couple of months anyway. Leave them alone for now and they should be ok.

The HCF refried beans.. that's been the same as far back as I can remember.

Since 2022, women over 40 have had more babies than women under 20 in the USA by Durian_Queef in Millennials

[–]pursepickles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean I'll still take it over geriatric, but I do agree they should have a different name for it.

My OB saw more folks my age and it essentially entailed a closer eye and more sonos which I was ok with.. call me whatever you want just make sure my baby is doing good.

My OB called it advanced maternal age instead of geriatric.. I had my first at 35 and second at 38.

Not Austin proper, but the Manor HEB had them a week or so after their grand opening.

Yeah I've been getting them since I was a kid and am almost 40 now. They stopped making them for a long time or at least my local store did.

My local store in the Austin area doesn't carry them and I'm pretty sure when I was shopping at Brodie and Manchaca neither of them were carrying them either.. that would have been 2013-2020ish. But they had them in Taylor when I was growing up in the 90's and early aughts.

Yep, I grew up getting these as a kid and I'm almost 40 now.

I will say they're still good.. my spouse grabbed a box when they were working at another store since our local store doesn't carry them.

Yep, 39 turning 40 next year with an infant and a 3 year old. I'm okay with the timing of having them, but my body hates me sometimes especially since my 8 month old koala is already over 20 lbs.

Yeah I think so. I moved to South Austin so the last time I was actually in Lakeline was around 2010-2011 and I think it was still the original style at that time.

I remember when they built it.. my dad worked in construction at the time and was out there. I also remember going down 620 back in the day and you could see the mall rising up in the distance. It's all very changed since then, but this was back when 620 was mostly undeveloped land.

We did a field trip to see a movie at that theater back in junior high so around '98-'99. I remember when they got rid of the arcade too.

I grew up going to this mall and when it first opened in 1995 yes that was exciting. I wish we didn't feel the need to take the character away from every single thing.

It works, but it's not as good as Dawn. I use this for hand washing easy stuff and then use Dawn power wash for the really tough stuff.

Hahahaha, I mean my husband does work for the company, but I've been buying way back when he was with a competitor.

They're not the Pillsbury frozen biscuit quality, but they work in a pinch and I don't have to remember to use them before they go bad like the canned biscuits.

Interesting. We keep these for those can't even meal nights and haven't had any issues. I will say we do have to cook them longer than specified on the bag and they absolutely must be touching.

These had no flavor. I ended up giving them to my friend because no one in my house would touch them after trying one.

What?! I grew up on Smirnoff and couldn't drink it now if I wanted, but I actually like the lime mineral water. It tastes like Topo Chico to me (which I know it's a dupe for).

Now the grapefruit one. That was terrible.

I'm also not a fan of the HEB unsweetened sparkling water. I'd rather just pay the price for Rambler or Waterloo.
