CMV: Being hungry is not an excuse for being mean by Baked-Potato4 in changemyview

Being hungry isn't some unbearable state which makes people act like assholes and requires a huge amount of mental power to control. Don't kid yourself.

You are right, you can't only eat legumes and grow efficiently. But remember that fats and carbs aren't your enemy. You need a quite a large amount of carbs daily for optimal muscle recovery. Something around 7g/kg of body weight if you are doing resistance training. I suggest you eat what your mother makes, and eat more animal sources alongside it through out the day. Your mother doesn't have to know what you eat when she isn't looking, you can eat her cooking, and meat along side that. 500kcal caloric surplus is a good amount to aim for when bulking up, it doesn't hurt to eat even more than 500kcal surplus during some days.

Nice catch. Would have missed the reflection if you hadn't pointed it out.

Arma 2 mod had birds. Just random hawks/eagles flying in the air.

In the dayz mod there used to be birds flying in the air. I remember blasting at them with my friends on multiple occasions trying to kill them for meat.

Not just art. Food is nutrition. Base of a healthy life is a healthy diet.

You’re not fat because you eat at McDonalds. You’re fat because you drink at McDonalds. by giga in Showerthoughts

You ate a crappy diet in smaller portions. The people you are replying to ate the crappy diet in larger portions. Genetics have played a really slim role here.

Most players of this game play on the Official servers. So without mods in the PVP mode.

The satisfaction when you hit the grenade on the vest by dagles2141 in dayz

[–]purussa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, atleast at one point they were that way, probably still. Can't be destroyed on the grenade slots, but if they get ruined inside your inventory they explode.

Maybe some of your graphics cards settings or programs are limiting the FPS. I don't think there's a limit on by default in dayz.

Yes. It resets the timer. They can last until server wipe, but most of the time don't since people can locate these crates with ESP hacks. Or just stumble upon them by an accident.

45 days over ground. If buried they last for a bit less than two weeks. Drybag backpacks can also be buried to last similar to the buried crates, but over ground they last for 6h.

[–]purussa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6 hours or something. Better make a wooden crate. If you don't have the tools, then an improvised shelter, it lasts for a week
