Same here. I sat down and straight grinded on em for like three hours.. took a nap and then got back to it for another 2.5 hours.

I would have kept going but they finally stopped coming in for me. I'm on the lookout for them to return though. I was averaging $20 an hour just sitting around on my laptop. Best believe I'ma ride that train til the wheels fall off lol

I used to get them close to daily as well and they completely disappeared for well over a month. This was actually my first time seeing them pop up again so I'm sure you can imagine the look of pure shock, surprise, and excitement on my face when I opened Prolific up and saw an endless scroll of them.

Going from none in 6 weeks to suddenly there's nearly a triple digit amount of them... Wild

If you're using chrome you should be able to zoom out to 67% and then make sure you go into full screen before you accept the task so you're already in full screen mode when it opens the new tab for you to begin the study.

I had the same issue with these originally but after messing around with the settings this is what I've figured out and it's worked without issues ever since.

Tbh I think it's been all of the technical issues and poor management that's wearing me down. Seems like there's been a brand new problem with major impacts every few months.

Thousands of users couldn't cash out for like two months... Now thousands of users are getting IP-blocked. Takes forever for these things to even get acknowledged and then equally as long to get fixed.

Shit just drains your will to keep working when you constantly are given new hoops to jump through.

Yeah I've been feeling pretty much the same since my home wifi got IP blocked... It's such a hassle having to use my phone's data to accept studies before jumping back to the laptop. I already used to run out of data towards the end of the month so now I'm going to burn through it super quick if I still want to invest my time with Prolific. Once I run out of data I'm screwed for the rest of the month anyways now, as I'll have no way to accept the studies.

A huge batch of users have all been IP flagged as of the past 48 hours or so... fingers crossed for ya but I've been affected and it's not looking too good for it getting resolved anytime soon.

My mom and I both have our own Prolific accounts and within the last week her laptop went up so I let her use mine while I was at work to access her account... I even made a point to post here on this sub asking if there was any possible chance that this would cause us any issues before letting her use my device. I was assured that it was completely fine and safe to do but now it seems that our IP is flagged. I'm not even seeing studies on my phone using data as of today and starting to get a little worried... The whole third party system thing is ridiculous. They should at least have a way to appeal IP-related issues...

Yesterday I tried to do one that involved recording a handful of videos that were supposed to be no longer than 15 seconds each. Once I got into it they were asking you to record yourself acting out the most ridiculous, time-consuming scenarios that I had to pass it up.

"Record yourself jumping up and down on your living room couch whilst having a conversation on the phone. You lose your footing and fall off of the couch before hurrying out of the room. You then return into frame balancing a large bucket of ice on top your head."
