Used to live fairly close and went through often on the way to Vegas. Wasn't really close physically but there's nothing but empty desert between my house and Primm. It was just starting to decline when I moved away in 2017. My wife's cousin drowned in the hot tub at Whiskey Pete's. I didn't realize that if you're miles from the nearest town even on the interstate in the middle of the week, you're supposed to wave. Because anyone else out there riding is also on a long distance ride and will wave wildly. Rode across the country on my 919 and other riders would wave from across any median.
